Purpose in your pain

Pastor Clyde Robinson

Psalm 34:19 NKJV

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

In our journey through life, we are either coming out of a storm, in the middle of a storm or heading to a storm.

Now we must be honest, some of the storms and pain that we find ourselves in is self inflicted ones and others are allowed by God, in order for us to mature. But no matter where you find yourself right now, there is purpose in your pain. God has you and I, exactly where He needs us to be. All that we have went through or are currently going through to date, God will work it out for our good and His glory. To grow us up, to increase our faith in Him and to allow us to see how vital his guidance is in our lives.

I know this process doesn’t always feel good or look good and you didn’t understand why all of the things were happening the way they were. Nevertheless, God knew what you and I were going to be facing before the foundation of the world, so embrace it today.

Embrace the heartache, embrace the pain, embrace the brokenness, and the tears. Embrace all the times that people lied on you, all of the times that people misunderstood you. Embrace all the weapons that were formed to try to kill your character and destroy your name. Just know those weapons won’t prosper.

It was something you had to go through to make you stronger. All of the strength, wisdom and maturity that you have gained from your trials and tribulations, were not only for you but that you would be an example to someone else.

Yes You! You are called to minister to those around you, to speak into the lives of those who God will bring into your life at an appointed time. This is so that you can love on them and be the shoulder that they need to lean on. God has attached them to you because, you are able to embrace them in a way no one else can. Why? Because You know what they are experiencing and you can feel the pain, because, this was once you.

Remember Romans 8:28 NKJV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

You are the called, you are the chosen, and this is His purpose for you.
